How the scorecard works

01 / Dimensions

Every metric is compared across four groups: Org (organisations sharing your brand), Market (same country), Size (same income band: <$10m, $10m–$25m, $25m–$50m, $50m–$100m, $100m+) and All participants.

02 / Ranking

Within each group, organisations are ordered by their value. Rank 1 is best. Ties share the same rank. Your rank is shown as rank / group size, e.g. 3/11.

Organisations with no suitable data for a metric are excluded from that metric's group entirely — they neither rank nor count toward the group size.

The Overall average rank is the mean of your ranks across all metrics in the All dimension. A Q5 badge marks metrics where you sit in the bottom 20% of all participants.

03 / Reverse ranking

For Pareto concentration and Channel reliance metrics (marked ↓), a lower value is better because it signals less dependence on a small group of donors or one channel. These are ranked ascending, and a negative difference is shown as favourable.

04 / Peer average & difference

The Average is the mean of the other organisations in the group — your own value is excluded. Difference is your score minus that average; light figures are favourable, red is unfavourable.

05 / Privacy

You will never see another organisation's name, individual value or any detail that identifies them. Calculations run inside the database and only aggregated results for your organisation are returned.

If a group has fewer than 3 other organisations, the average and difference are withheld and shown as “Not enough peers”. Rank and group size are still shown.
